NAVY STANDARD MISSILE
Corvid’s computational aerodynamics support for the Navy STANDARD Missile program has been ongoing since 2006. Through the combination of the RavenCFD flow solver, innovative flow-solution techniques, in-house computational resources, and a suite of aerodynamic database development tools we are able to perform high-fidelity predictions of STANDARD Missile aerodynamics at a very high throughput rate - over 50,000 quarter-degree data points per month. With this capability, we generate large-scale computational aerodynamics databases to support current and future system development. This production-quality quick turnaround analysis capability significantly mitigates system risks, shortens development timelines, and reduces costs associated with wind tunnel testing.
