The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) named Corvid Technologies LLC the Southeast Region Small Business Subcontractor of the Year following nominations by Ms. Alyssa Hopfensperger, Small Business Liaison Officer, and Ms. Rachel Page, Subcontract Administrator, Oshkosh Defense, LLC. The award is given to small businesses who have supported the government with outstanding goods and services throughout the year. Since the company’s founding in 2004, Corvid has been providing engineering expertise to a variety of customers including the U.S. Navy, the Missile Defense Agency, and large prime defense contractors.

 

The SBA recognizes outstanding small business owners each year leading up to the celebration of National Small Business Week (NSBW) spanning May 1-5, 2023. Winners of this prestigious award are selected based on contract performance, explanation of how the product or service fills a niche or technical need, and a description of exceptional results and delivery performance proving value. The SBA recognized Corvid for their contribution in driving economic growth and inspiring innovation among small businesses throughout the United States. The nominating prime contractor, OshKosh Defense, was supported by Corvid team members Drew Slusser, Ian Thomas, and Jackson Horton.
